Samhain (from what I remember about it) was awesome. I was considerably more drunk than Nick and he found it quite funny that I was downing 14% proof stuff like it was water then giggling at every damn thing in sight. I taught Nick how to do the traditional "Burn and Bury" spell to welcome in the New Year, then we both went to sleep and I woke up with my first ever hangover!
I know some people do not celebrate hangovers, but I've never had one before so this was actually quite exciting. The biggest part was the headache, that lasted a few hours, and the nausea that unfortunately made me throw up on the way to work - but I was fine by Saturday lunchtime and back to normal (physically speaking).
Working Sundays suck, I'm not used to it as I tend to plan for all my time-off stuff on Sundays and of course my RSPCA work falls on a Sunday, so I've had to tell my bosses I can't work Sundays anymore. They seem slightly bummed but I expect I'll offer to work the occasional one as there are a few Sundays where all we do in the County Ground is sit about talking about post-dates and drink tea!
Nick's been living with me since Fri 24th October, he just stayed over and has continued staying over ever since. He only goes home on Wednesdays when he has to raid on World of Warcraft and my PC couldn't take the graphics of a 25 man raid without smoke coming out of her. I've become very used to having him around every night and we've moulded our own little routines of living together. We walk to work together (when we're both working), we meet at lunchtimes (if we can) then when he's nipped to his parents house to do his daily World of Warcraft things he comes over to mine and we spend the evening eating dinner, faffing about on my PC and watching TV before going to bed. The single bed I have has become a bit of a burden now so we use an inflatable double mattress I was given and sleep on that on the floor instead, always fun when someone gets up to go to the toilet and wobbling and squeaking commences!
But after a short talk between Nick and myself, we have decided to take the next step and move in together! There will be a double room vacant soon in another house owned by my landlady so once it becomes vacant Nick and I are going to live there together. Things won't change much from what they are now, Nick will go off into his little world when raiding and I'll sit there painting, reading or whatever to occupy the time and occassionally observing him massacre the various.
That's all I can think of putting for now, I'm about to leave for my mother's but I'm sure I'll write more when I get home tonight.

Also, moving it. What i will say is, give this even more serious consideration - doing it so early can just all out kill your relationship, before doing it you both need to be really strong and committed to eachother or i gurantee you it will end badly.
Voice of experience, remember?
Ah yes I remember your bad living together experience, I had one too with my ex remember? Me and Nick honestly feel ready, and it's kinda happened anyway as he's stayed over so often. I feel comfortable around him, and he makes me reall happy. He's quite a tidy fella and very polite, and we're both geeks so we have our alone time on the computer when we need it.
But thanks for your guidance, you lovely puppy you :P xxxx
though unfortunatly i spent my samhain in a caravan [total yawn].
all i got around to do was burning a few candles and saying a few words here and there lol.
and i got dragged aloung to some random halloween party for like...five year olds, RAWR.
lol.
Seriously though, congrats and the bestest of luck to you both :o)~
Thank you for the congrats Mr K :D
